Monthly Women's Meeting
Anchor Of Hope lady's meeting meets every third Thursday of the month for a potluck dinner at 6:30 pm with door prizes, followed by a rich time in the Word.
Special speakers with fresh insight offer support and encouragement. At these meetings, new friendships are formed and women grow deeper in their walk with the Lord!
Annual Women's Conference
Started in 1997, this two-day fall conference is held annually. It is hosted by Jubilee Christian Center and Anchor of Hope Women’s Ministry.
In each service you will experience the presence of God and the Holy Spirit is welcome to move freely in the services. The conference hosts highly sought-after speakers.
Women of all denominations and backgrounds attend this annual meeting where God always shows himself strong.
FORGOTTEN WOMEN DOCUMENTARY
Oklahoma is currently ranked #1 in female incarceration. With 281 women in prison per 100,000 residents according to prisonpolicy.org - a national organization that tracks criminal justice policy and reform.
The rate of women coming out of prison is now rising due to new Oklahoma laws and lower-level crimes. This is leaving women all over our state with nothing when they get out. They try their best to make it in life with no opportunities or money to support themselves when they get out.
This often leads to homelessness and other things such as more drug use or other crimes just to survive. This virtually ties their hands and sets them up for failure.
