VISION FOR WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN INCARCERATED AND RELEASED
“I was in prison and you came after me. Whatsoever you do to the least of these, that you do to me.” Matthew 25:36 NIV
Imagine a woman who serves her time for the crime she committed. Finally, the day comes for her release. The prison doors open, but where will she go?
The sad facts are that within the first 72 hours of release from prison, most women will go back into the same destructive relationships that put them there in the first place.
Anchor of Hope’s vision is to assist incarcerated women in the journey back into society.
Short term transition housing: Jubilee Christian Center provided a small acreage of land to Anchor of Hope to develop houses for women being released out of prison and transitioning into society.
Each house can support up to 24 women in one year.
AOH has a vast network of resources in place to assist in the transition.
Employment: assist in securing employment and providing transportation to and from work.
Clothing: Our Hope Closet provides basic clothing and personal items.
Driver’s license: most girls will need to get a new driver’s license.
Family restoration: provide supervised visitation with children with the long term goal of reuniting families.
Education: transport them to facilities where they can finish their GED. Also we will help transport women to local college or vocational training.
On site Counseling: to provide the tools needed to overcome abuse, addictions, and poor choices, offering women the help they need for a better future.
OVERNIGHT RETREATS
Spring break of each year is retreat time. Women gather for a time of great fellowship with one another and with the Holy Spirit.
Like Mary in Luke 10, they take time to sit at Jesus’ feet.
The meeting is held in a 6000 square foot house from Thursday – Saturday that sleeps 26.

A time to develop relationships, make new friends, discover who God created them to be,
and experience HIM like never before.
WOMEN’S CONFERENCES
Started in 1997, this two day fall conference is held annually. It is hosted by Jubilee Christian Center and Anchor of Hope Women’s Ministry.
In each service you will experience the presence of God and Holy Spirit is welcomed to move freely in the services. The conference hosts highly sought after speakers.
Women of all denominations and backgrounds attend this annual meeting where God always shows himself strong.
Friday
Anchor Of Hope Conference kicks off with fantastic worship and a power-packed, inspirational message that women can apply to their everyday lives!
Saturday
Women return for a morning meeting, an amazing luncheon and an intimate afternoon service.
These are meetings where healing takes place in the heart and you won’t want to miss. Come expecting!
MONTHLY MEETINGS
Anchor Of Hope ladies meeting meets every third Thursday of the month for a potluck dinner at 6:30 pm with door prizes, followed by a rich time in the Word.
Special speakers with fresh insight offer support and encouragement. At these meetings new friendships are formed and women grow deeper in their walk with the Lord!
